BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – On Tuesday morning, at around 10 a.m., the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit arrested last week’s “Wheel of Fugitive” Target, Frank Carfi, in the area of US 1 and Aurora Blvd. in Melbourne.

The arrest is the result of a tip our agency received from an anonymous citizen who observed Carfi on the “Wheel of Fugitive” and reported that Carfi often hangs out in the immediate area of U.S. 1 and Aurora Blvd. As a result of the citizen tip Fugitive Agents traveled to the area and initiated surveillance.

Agents subsequently observed Carfi walking down the street and attempted to take him into custody at which time Carfi fled on foot in an effort to elude arrest. Carfi was chased down by one of our Agents and was taken into custody without further incident.

Carfi stated that he was not aware he was the Fugitive of the Week on “Wheel of Fugitive” as he does not have access to the internet.
