BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA — King Arthur, knights in shining armor and — killer rabbits?

Yes, it’s Spamalot, opening Friday, November 3 at the Surfside Playhouse in Cocoa Beach, running through November 19 (three weekends), under the direction of Bryan Bergeron.

The musical Spamalot is a stage adaptation of the enormously successful film comedy, Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

And like the film, Spamalot parodies the legend of King Arthur and his quest, with the addition of further zany characters and situations.

The original 2005 Broadway production of Spamalot won three Tony Awards, including the Tony® Award for Best Musical, and received 14 Tony Award nominations.

Filled with gags that will leave you gasping for breath, Spamalot features the talents of Rob Dickman as King Arthur, Joel Shugars as Sir Lancelot, with the Lady of the Lake played by Malinda Villain and Sir Robin played by Jonathan Andrews.
