Airmen shared stories from WW2 to Hurricane Irma

BREVARD COUNTY • PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, FLORIDA — The 920th Rescue Wing hosted 70 members of the Air Rescue Association recently in conjunction with the organization’s 42nd annual reunion.

During their visit, the attendees, which included retired rescue military members and their families, climbed aboard the HC-130N King aerial refueler and the HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter and dined with rescue Airmen

Rescue stories were shared by Airmen spanning from World War II to the wing’s most recent Hurricane relief missions.

Citizen Airmen from the 920th RQW also attended the combined Air Rescue Association and That Others May Live Foundation Ball.

The ball was held at the Crown Plaza in Melbourne.
