BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – This week’s “Wheel of Fugitive” target, Jonathan Jones was arrested early this morning by members of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit after investigative leads and a citizen identified the residence where Jones was staying.

Jones was observed leaving the residence as a passenger in a vehicle that was subsequently stopped by Agents at a store on Malabar Road.

Jones, who was taken into custody without incident admitted to knowing he had a warrant for his arrest but was unaware he was the winner of this week’s “Wheel of Fugitive.”

Jones was transported to the Brevard County Jail where he was detained on a “No Bond” status in accordance with the warrant for Violation of Probation reference Domestic Violence.

Another great job by our Fugitive Unit and citizens who partner together to get criminals off our streets and safely behind bars where they can’t victimize anyone else.
