Precautionary Boil Water Notice Issued For Barefoot Bay Area After Water Main Break

Due to a water main break, a precautionary boil water notice has been issued for Barefoot Bay residents living in the following areas: Kiwi Drive, Sapodilla Drive, Lychee Drive, Tamarind Circle, Almond Court, Sebastian Road, Papaya Circle, Persimmon Drive, Loquat Drive, Macadamia Drive, Longan Drive, Avocado Drive, Citron Drive, Sapote Drive, Akee Drive, Kumquat Drive and Fig Court.

BREVARD COUNTY • BAREFOOT BAY, FLORIDA – Due to a water main break, a precautionary boil water notice has been issued for Barefoot Bay residents living in the following areas: Kiwi Drive, Sapodilla Drive, Lychee Drive, Tamarind Circle, Almond Court, Sebastian Road, Papaya Circle, Persimmon Drive, Loquat Drive, Macadamia Drive, Longan Drive, Avocado Drive, Citron Drive, Sapote Drive, Akee Drive, Kumquat Drive and Fig Court.

The water main break occurred at 221 Kiwi Drive. As a precaution, it’s advised that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient.

As an alternative, bottled water may be used.

This precautionary boil water notice will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected and a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink.
