UPDATE: Titusville Police Officers Exchange Gunfire With Suspect on Mayfair Way Sunday Morning

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Police responded to a report of a man with a gun at the apartments located on Mayfair Way at around 5 a.m. on Sunday.

Police say the preliminary investigation has revealed that officers briefly exchanged gunfire with the suspect who discharged his handgun.

No injuries were reported and the suspect was quickly taken into custody.

Titusville Police arrested 22-year-old Harland Ramon Johnson, from Titusville. Johnson is charged with Discharge of a Firearm from a Vehicle, Carrying a Concealed Firearm, Tampering with Evidence, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphilia.

Johnson was booked into the Brevard County Jail without bond.

In compliance with Titusville Police Department policy, an Internal Investigation is currently being completed.
