Cocoa Police are looking to identify and locate a suspect who attempted to pay with a counterfeit $100 bill at the Family Dollar store, located on 1049 W King Street in Cocoa. (Cocoa PD Image)

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Cocoa Police are looking to identify and locate a suspect who attempted to pay with a counterfeit $100 bill at the Family Dollar store, located on 1049 W King Street in Cocoa.

Police say the incident occurred on Thursday, October 26, after surveillance footage captured the suspect paying with a fake $100 bill.

The incident occurred around 4:19 p.m. ET

The man is described as a light skinned black male, last seen wearing black shirt, red/black/white jacket, grey shorts with a large white Nike logo on shorts and white shoes.
