BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – Firefighters extinguished a fire Monday night that claimed the lives of two cats and injuring another at the Villages of the Seaport complex, according to News 13 reporter Greg Pallone.
A spokesperson says nobody was inside at the time of the fire, except for the cats.
Oxygen was given to the two cats caught up in the fire, however, both died on scene.
A third cat was transported to a local animal clinic for treatment.
Investigators are still looking for the cause of the fire.
