BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s basketball team fell in its season opener on the road against Miami Dade Wednesday night.

The Titans headed to the fourth quarter with a four-point lead but couldn’t hang on as Miami Dade scored 21 points in the fourth quarter.

Alexandrine Obouh Fegue led the Titans with 20 points and eight rebounds while Brianna Lewis added 15 points and Ieva Spigule had 11 points in the game.

Eastern Florida State College will travel to Indian River State College this weekend for the Indian River Tip-Off Classic. The Titans will play Palm Beach State at 4 p.m. on Friday and then host Indian River State College at 2 p.m Saturday.
