With the entire month of November still to come, Melbourne has already set its wettest Fall Season on record with a total of 34.38 inches. (NWS image)

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – With the entire month of November still to come, Melbourne has already set its wettest Fall Season on record with a total of 34.38 inches.

Melbourne observed its wettest September on record, followed by the second wettest October on record.

This is the combined rainfall for only two-thirds of the fall season, the months of September and October.

The meteorological fall season includes the months of September, October, and November.
