A fact-finding committee of the Save Our Indian River Lagoon Citizens Oversight Committee will take a field trip with Brevard County staff to the Florida Onsite Wastewater Association Training Center from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — A fact-finding committee of the Save Our Indian River Lagoon Citizens Oversight Committee will take a field trip with Brevard County staff to the Florida Onsite Wastewater Association Training Center from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17.

The facility is located at 5115 State Road 557 in Lake Alfred, Florida.

The fact-finding committee will be appointed by the Citizens Oversight Committee during its monthly meeting held earlier the same day from 8:30 – 10 a.m.

The field trip will allow attendees to learn about the latest pollution-reducing technologies for septic systems.

This trip is open to the public and media but space is limited at the Training Center so a reservation through Brevard County staff is recommended.

Free transportation with the Committee and staff is also available for interested attendees who call and reserve seating.
