BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, or it will quite soon.
The Space Coast Symphony Holiday for Everyone at the Avenue Viera will kick off the holiday season with the annual lighting of the colorful 35-foot Christmas tree on Friday, November 24 at 6 p.m., between Moe’s Southwest Grill and Panera Bread.
Space Coast Symphony Orchestra Conductor and Artistic Director Aaron Collins can’t wait to kick off another holiday season at the Avenue Viera, an outdoor lifestyle retail center off Lake Andrew Drive in Viera.
“The annual lighting of the Avenue Viera Christmas tree is starting to become a new holiday tradition for folks in Viera,” said Collins.
“The youth musicians of Quartet Movement are excellent players – and the day after Thanksgiving everyone is ready to hear the beautiful music that is only played at this special time of year.”
Two dozen youth musicians from Quartet Movement will play a series of holiday favorites on stringed instruments for Black Friday shoppers as the majestic tree comes to life.
Quartet Movement is a youth outreach program sponsored by the Space Coast Symphony.
