ORLANDO, FLORIDA (UCFKnights.com) – The No. 11/12 UCF football team finished the 2017 season undefeated after defeating USF 49-42 Friday afternoon at Spectrum Stadium. On Monday, a pair of Knights earned final American Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors.

McKenzie Milton earned his fourth Offensive Player of the Week honor from the league this season, while Mike Hughes was named Special Teams Player of the Week for the third time.

Milton finished the War On I-4 29-of-44 for 373 yards and four touchdowns through the air, leading the Knights to victory. He also rushed 11 times for 56 yards and a score. His 30 touchdowns on the season are the second most in a single season in program history, needing just two to set a new school record.

Hughes set a new career high with 125 kick return yards against the Bulls. It was his final return, however, that will go down in UCF history. With 1:22 to play in the game, he returned a USF kick 95 yards for a touchdown to put the Knights ahead for good.
