Brent Albertson Joins The Viera Company as Director of Land Development Engineering

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – Todd Pokrywa, Senior VP Land Use Planning & Development for The Viera Company announced the employment of Brent Albertson, PE, CGC as their new Director of Land Development Engineering.

Albertson will be responsible for directing land development engineering activities for assigned projects and overseeing the engineering design, permitting and budgeting for subdivision development and infrastructure construction projects.

“I am thrilled to be part of such a talented team that has already accomplished so much and am looking forward to executing on all of the opportunities ahead of us,” said Albertson.

Albertson has over 25 years of experience working in consulting engineering, design-build general contracting, home building, and real estate development.

Prior to joining The Viera Company, he worked as a Development & Construction Operations consultant with Character Oaks Real Estate and Land Development Manager at both The Ryland Group and Meritage Homes.

Albertson also held the title of Vice President of Development & Construction at McDonald Development Company.

Having graduated from Cornell University, Albertson holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil & Environmental Engineering and is a licensed Professional Engineer (State of Florida) and Certified General Contractor (State of Florida).
