CRIME WATCH: Palm Bay Police Department Cracks Down On Vehicle Thefts, Arrests Five Suspects

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The Palm Bay Department, in collaboration with area law enforcement agencies, have made five vehicle-related theft arrests thus far this month.

Palm Bay police said they arrested Taparree Shelton Jr., 18, of Titusville, along with three 16-year-old juveniles, including two from Palm Bay and one from Port St. John. Also arrested was a 17-year-old suspect from Titusville.

“We have been focusing on vehicle thefts and auto burglaries,” said Palm Bay Police Detective Sergeant Cliff Graves of the Property Crimes Unit.

“It has been a team effort with our partner agencies and crime analysts throughout the County.”

The felony car theft arrests were made on December 15 and December 16, with the assistance of Melbourne Police Department.
