BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — After completing an impressive 2017 campaign, Florida Tech Football’s Adonis Davis has been tabbed to the All-Super Region 2 First Team, announced by the D2CCA office on Friday.

This is Davis’ first career appearance on the All-Region Team.

The Columbus, Ohio product had a historic year for the Panther football team on the way to earning his second consecutive All-Gulf South Conference First Team selection.

Davis finished the season with 59 total tackles, tied for second most on the team, and ranked atop the GSC in both tackles for loss and sacks. In fact, the juniors’ 19.0 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks this season set new program single season records.

Over his two seasons at FIT, Davis has 34.0 tackles for loss and 14.0 sacks and could likely break the career record in both categories during his senior season.

As a first team selection, Davis is now eligible for recognition on the D2CCA All-America Teams to be announced in the coming weeks.
