BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Gould family made their annual stop Thursday at the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Animal Care Center to drop off food for our animals.

Instead of receiving birthday gifts throughout the year the Gould Family asks for food donations that can be taken to the Animal Care Center.

Today’s donation brings the total amount of donations for the Gould Family to just over 10,000 pounds of food that they have donated over the past 3 years.

I am always amazed at the compassion our citizens have for helping those in a time of need and at how much our citizens support our efforts to keep Brevard County a great place to call home.

Please join me in thanking Officers Eric and Niki Gould of the Melbourne Police Department, along with their daughters Aubree and Candace, for their compassion and passion to help our pets.

– Wayne Ivey, Brevard County Sheriff
