Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Crash With Vehicle In Titusville, Victim Airlifted To Hospital

The Titusville police are investigating a vehicle vs. motorcycle crash that happened Monday afternoon that left the motorcyclist with serious injuries.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – The Titusville police are investigating a vehicle vs. motorcycle crash that happened Monday afternoon that left the motorcyclist with serious injuries.

According to Titusville Police Department Public Information Officer Amy Matthews, at approximately 2:30 p.m. Monday, Titusville police responded to a report of a traffic crash with injuries involving a vehicle and a motorcycle at the intersection of A. Max Brewer Memorial Parkway (State Road 406) and Indian River Avenue.

“The preliminary investigation revealed that William Leslie Walls, 88, of Mims, who was traveling northbound on Indian River Avenue and driving a 2013 Buick LaCrosse, attempted to cross both eastbound lanes of A. Max Brewer Memorial Parkway and enter the center median,” said Matthews.

“Walls invaded the right of way and struck an adult male victim who was operating a classic style BMW motorcycle that was traveling eastbound on A. Max Brewer Memorial Parkway.”

The victim, who was wearing a motorcycle safety helmet, was air-lifted to a local hospital with serious injuries.

There were no other injuries reported.

This traffic crash remains under investigation by the Titusville Police Department.
