Titusville Police Investigating Fatal Motorcycle Crash That Happened Thursday Morning On US 1

Titusville police traffic officers are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that happened late Thursday morning.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville police traffic officers are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that happened late Thursday morning.

According to Amy Matthews, Titusville Police Department Public Affairs Coordinator/Public Information Officer, at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Titusville police responded to a report of a single vehicle traffic crash with injuries on North Washington Avenue.

‘The preliminary investigation revealed that an adult male operating a 2004 Kawasaki Vulcan motorcycle was traveling northbound on North Washington Avenue where he defensively overcorrected, lost control and crashed just north of Norwood Avenue,” said Matthews.

The victim, who has not yet been identified, was transported to a local hospital and pronounced dead at 12:19 p.m.
