BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Deputy Mayor Tres Holton, and members of the Palm Bay City Council, invite all citizens to attend Thursday’s regular City Council meeting beginning at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers.

Along with the scheduled agenda items, which can be found here, Holton has asked staff to speak on the city’s roads projects, specifically the recently completed projects using the Full-Depth Reclamation (FDR) and Double Chip/Fog Seal overlay after FDR.

“This discussion is about resolving decades of road/infrastructure issues in our City,” said Holton.

“In my humble opinion, these types of new initiatives to our road issues in Palm Bay neighborhoods will transform our City for an entire generation.”

Palm Bay Public Works recently completed several roads in southwest Palm Bay using the FDR method, which will serve as one of the options for road assessments for the city moving forward.

“The city selected these local roads for the FDR application so that city council and residents can see what it is as we move forward in our roads program,” said Public Works Engineer Troy Davidson.
