WEST MELBOURNE POLICE: One Hospitalized In Officer-Involved Shooting

BREVARD COUNTY • WEST MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – One person has been hospitalized Friday night in what West Melbourne police are describing as an officer-involved shooting near Hammock Landings Shopping Center off Palm Bay R0ad and Norfolk Parkway.
The officer involved in the shooting was not injured, according to a police spokesperson.
The shooting happened around 7 p.m.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is on the scene to investigate.
