Brevard County Fire Rescue Engine 80 responded to a vehicle fire off Viera Boulevard on Monday in Viera.When fire crews arrived, the vehicle was heavily involved and ammunition could be heard exploding.While ammo isn’t as lethal when it’s not supported by the chamber of a firearm, it can penetrate metal as seen in the photo. BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue Engine 80 responded to a vehicle fire off Viera Boulevard on Monday in Viera.

When fire crews arrived, the vehicle was heavily involved and ammunition could be heard exploding.

While ammo isn’t as lethal when it’s not supported by the chamber of a firearm, it can penetrate metal as seen in the above photo.

No injuries or the cause of the fire were reported.

Brevard County Fire Rescue said, “just another example of the hazards firefighters face each day.”
