By Space Coast Daily // January 28, 2018
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard Fire Rescue crews have received reports of a brush fire on the Ulamay Wildlife Sanctuary Sunday afternoon near the 2100 block on Jason St. in Merritt Island.
Due to the location of the fire and inaccessibility for BCFR units, Florida Forest Service has been called in to handle the fire in a deep wooded area.
A spokesperson with Brevard Fire Rescue says that no structures are in a danger at this time.
The cause of the brush fire is unknown.
