Cape View Elementary School students have been studying all year for its annual spelling bee. The students’ knowledge of spelling patterns and complicated words really impressed the judges. This year the winner was sixth-grade student Mariah Scordamaglia. BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Cape View Elementary School students have been studying all year for its annual spelling bee.

The students’ knowledge of spelling patterns and complicated words really impressed the judges.

This year the winner was sixth-grade student Mariah Scordamaglia.

The runner-up and alternate, should Mariah be unable to fill her position at the district level, is fellow sixth-grade student Olivia Crowley.
