Humongous Norwegian Breakaway To Homeport at Port Canaveral Beginning November 2019

Norwegian Breakaway will extend her stay in the Sunshine State by repositioning from Miami to Port Canaveral, arriving on November 23, 2019. At more than 145,000 tons and 1,100 feet long, the Breakway is one of the largest ships to homeport in Port Canaveral and will spend her winter 2019/20 season sailing seven-day Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries every Saturday.

BREVARD COUNTY • PORT CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – Norwegian Breakaway will extend her stay in the Sunshine State by repositioning from Miami to Port Canaveral, set to arrive on the Space Coast November 23, 2019.

“Port Canaveral is proud of its partnership with Norwegian Cruise Line and the role we have in their growth plans,” said Port Canaveral CEO Captain John Murray.

“Having Norwegian Breakaway homeported here demonstrates NCL’s continuing confidence in the value of our port and our ability to support some of the most successful cruise ships in the industry. Nearly 5 million revenue cruise passengers are expected at our Port this fiscal year, once again making us the second-busiest cruise port in the world.”

Norwegian Cruise Lines said that a Breakaway cruise is the perfect vacation for the young and young at heart.

The ship’s Western Caribbean cruises will offer guests an array of tropical destinations including Falmouth, Jamaica; George Town, Grand Cayman; and Cozumel, Mexico.

During Norwegian Breakaway’s Eastern Caribbean sailings, guests will cruise to some of the most popular ports of call in the region including St. Thomas, USVI; Tortola, BVI and Norwegian’s very own exclusive, private island, Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas.
