Palm Bay Aquatic Center Offers Winter Lifeguard Certification Classes Starting Feb. 3

PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The Palm Bay Aquatic Center, located at 420 Community College Parkway in Palm Bay, is offering a lifeguard certification class this winter.
Class dates are Saturday, February 3; Sunday, February 4; Saturday, February 10; and Sunday, February 11 from noon to 5 p.m. plus an online portion.
Participants must pass a preliminary swim test to enroll in the class. The swim test consists of a 300-yard swim, a two-minute tread (legs only), and a 10-pound brick retrieval with a 20-yard swim.
The cost is $250 for ages 15 and older and includes a pocket mask, course book and certification.
