BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – As Law Enforcement Officers across the nation are recognized today on “National Law Enforcement Officer Appreciation Day,” the 1,500 proud men and women of your Brevard County Sheriff’s Office want to say “Thank You” to our community for their incredible support and for partnering with us to keep Brevard County a safe place to call Home.

While I could not be more proud of the amazing work that the dedicated men and women of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office do each and every day to protect our citizens, I am equally as proud of the partnership we enjoy with our citizens, business owners, community leaders and public safety partners.

As Law Enforcement Officers we are blessed to serve in a community where our citizens love, trust and protect us just as much as we love, trust and protect them!! Having that kind of support from our community is an amazing feeling that means the world to us!!

So while today may be “National Law Enforcement Officer Appreciation Day” it is also a time for us to reflect on how blessed we are to serve in Brevard County and to say “Thank You” to our citizens for standing with us while we stand to protect you!
