Wickham Park Pavilion In Melbourne Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony To Be Held Jan. 26

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Parks and Recreation Department will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Wickham Park Pavilion on Friday, Jan. 26, at 10 a.m. at Wickham Park, 2500 Parkway Drive, Melbourne.

Construction for the 12,240 square foot pavilion began on June 6th, 2017. It was paid for by referendum after the lease for the old Wickham Park Pavilion expired with Eastern Florida State College.

The pavilion will be used for Brevard County Parks and Recreation activities and events such as, Movies in the Park, and will be available for rent.

The newly constructed pavilion has 33 paved parking spaces, 112 overflow parking spaces available, restrooms, a warming kitchen, and can hold up to 750 individuals.
