BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Last night, members of our Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Family hosted a Candlelight Vigilat Sandpoint Park in Titusville for our fallen hero, Deputy Kevin Stanton.

The vigil, that was attended by hundreds was arranged by Maddilyn Genova and Jaclyn Flake in honor of Kevin in an effort to celebrate his life as a son, brother, friend and Law Enforcement Officer.

Throughout the evening friends and co-workers shared their memories of Kevin through friendship and work. The event was an opportunity to start the healing process for the family, our agency and community!

I would like to personally thank all of our citizens and first responders who attended tonight’s event for their love and compassion and also thank Daniel and Maddilyn Genova and Jeremy and Jaclyn Flake for organizing the event and working so hard to make sure it honored their friend, Kevin!
