Cocoa Police Detectives are currently investigating an armed robbery and an attempted armed robbery that occurred within two hours of each other Monday evening. The suspect is a white male about 6-feet-3-inches tall. He was wearing a dark ball cap and a blue t-shirt with light colored shorts. He ditched the shirt and ball cap as he fled the scene. BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Cocoa Police Detectives are investigating an armed robbery and an attempted armed robbery that occurred within two hours of each other Monday evening.

According to the Cocoa police, Detectives are currently at the scene of the 7-11 at the intersection of Dixon Boulevard and Fisk’s Boulevard where the suspect displayed a firearm under his shirt and demanded money.

The clerk complied and the suspect fled with cash, cigarettes and some chips. About two hours earlier, the same suspect attempted to rob the clerk at the WAWA, 923 King St. but fled before getting any cash.

The suspect is a white male about 6-feet-3-inches tall. He was wearing a dark ball cap and a blue t-shirt with light colored shorts. He ditched the shirt and ball cap as he fled the scene.

The suspect has a tattoo on his left wrist and left arm. No one was injured.

Anyone with information should contact the Central Florida CRIMELINE at 1-800-423-TIPS. Callers will remain anonymous and can be eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000 in this case.
