FLORIDA HIGHWAY PATROL: Pedestrian Struck and Killed By Pickup Truck On Clearlake Road in Cocoa

The Florida Highway Patrol reported that a yet to be identified male pedestrian was killed Tuesday about 7:45 p.m. after being hit by a vehicle on Clearlake Road near Lake Road in Cocoa.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Florida Highway Patrol reported that a yet to be identified male pedestrian was killed Tuesday about 7:45 p.m. after being hit by a vehicle on Clearlake Road near Lake Road in Cocoa.

According to Florida Highway Patrol PIO Sgt. Kim Montes, Luis Osoria, 21, of Opa Locka was traveling northbound on Clearlake Road, in the right, through lane.

The pedestrian was attempting to cross Clearlake Road, in an unknown direction, and walked into the direct path of Osoria’s 2004 pickup truck.

According to Sgt. Montes, the victim was transported to Wuestoff Hospital Rockledge, where he was pronounced dead.

This crash remains Under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol
