New Port Richey Man Arrested In Rockledge For Traveling To Meet Child For Sex

Brevard County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 50-year-old New Port Richey man in Rockledge on Wednesday for traveling to meet a minor for sex.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 50-year-old New Port Richey man in Rockledge on Wednesday for traveling to meet a minor for sex.

The suspect is identified as Rameshwer Satram.

According to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, a BCSO agent was working undercover online January 17 when Satram made contact with the agent.

Investigators say Satram turned the conversation to sexual activity with the “fake child.”

After repeatedly being told that the fake child was only 13-years-old in numerous conversations, authorities say Satram asked the child (undercover agent) for sexual favors.

Later, the suspect sent the child an explicit photo and requested a meeting with the child for sexual favors.

Satram and the child (undercover agent) agreed upon a location meet, where the suspect was arrested by agents and booked into the Brevard County Jail.

Satram is being held on an $80,000 bond and charged with traveling to meet a minor for sex and transmit info harmful t0 minors.
