BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Thursday morning, Corporal Jay Martinez and I had the pleasure of being at Mims Elementary School for one of our newest community outreach programs, “Milk and Donuts With The Sheriff.”

The program gives us a chance to spend time with our younger citizens who get the chance to ask Jay and I any question they want about the exciting field of Law Enforcement, our personal careers, and even what we enjoy doing away from work.

It is always a great time as we get some amazing questions from the students and teachers at each school while also creating great relationships with the students.

Please join me in thanking Principal Sheryl Haskins for allowing us to spend time with the students, all of the students who attended the presentation, our program sponsor, Entenmann’s who makes each event possible and of course our teachers who give everything they have each and every day to give our students the best education possible.
