TITUSVILLE POLICE: Four Suspects Charged With Threatening Shooting Victim and Witnesses Last Week

Authorities have identified the following suspects; 40-year-old Talisha Lashawn Prince (left), 40-year-old Dontay Jermaine Smith, from Titusville, (left-center), 23-year-old Reginald Jordan Murray, from Merritt Island, (right-center) and Dimetrious Cornell Smith, 41, from Titusville (right).

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Police have arrested three more suspects in connection to the February 7 shooting on Gilbert Street last week.

Police say they made the arrests Friday, February 9, when they discovered the suspects tampered with the victim and witnesses of the shooting that seriously injured the victim.

Authorities have identified the following suspects; 40-year-old Talisha Lashawn Prince and 40-year-old Dontay Jermaine Smith, from Titusville, and 23-year-old Reginald Jordan Murray, from Merritt Island.

A fourth suspect was already booked into Brevard County Jail, Dimetrious Cornell Smith, 41,  is charged with solicitation to tamper with a witness and conspiracy to tamper with a witness.

The preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects intimidated and made direct threats of bodily harm to the victim and witnesses in person and through third person conversations.

“Our citizens can be assured that when they come forward with information, we will not tolerate them being tampered with or threatened in any way”, stated Criminal Investigations Division Sergeant Bill Amos.
