ORLANDO, FLORIDA – When the gates opened last March at Orlando City Stadium, the venue was instantly heralded as one of the best soccer-specific stadiums in the United States.
Well, it looks like the world took notice as well – and not just the soccer community.
Orlando City has been nominated for “Stadium of the Year” in 2017 by Stadium.DB.com.
Stadium of the Year is the world’s largest competition of its kind, inviting everyone to select the very best stadium opened in the previous year.
A total of 27 stadiums from 19 countries begin the fight to become Stadium of the Year 2017, and the great soccer fans of Orlando can help decide.
The vote includes a fan vote as well as a jury vote. Voting will conclude at 6 a.m. ET on March 5.
