October is the peak month of Hurricane season in Florida and the artists at the Studios of Cocoa Beach are dealing with it creatively. They have channeled their experiences into a show titled “Riders on the Storm”. (Studios of Cocoa Beach image)

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – October is the peak month of Hurricane season in Florida and the artists at the Studios of Cocoa Beach are dealing with it creatively. They have channeled their experiences into a show titled “Riders on the Storm.”

From realistic views of the tempest to impressionistic expressions of the emotions wild weather evokes, you will find paintings, photographs, ceramics, fibers, and even jewelry inspired by Florida weather.

The show runs from October 1 to 31 at the Studios’ gallery, 165 Minuteman Causeway in downtown Cocoa Beach. Open Wednesday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
