BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office recently held a Swearing-In Ceremony to welcome new members to our agency and to also recognize current members of our agency who are assuming new assignments and being promoted to new supervisory positions within our agency.

It is always an honor to watch the excitement on the faces of new members as they join our agency and take their Oath of Office to serve the citizens of Brevard County.

Equally as exciting is watching current members of our family as they achieve new and exciting goals in their careers such as being promoted or being assigned to specialty units.

This week during our ceremony we also retired one of our K9 Patrol Dogs, Bosco who served our agency and citizens for close to seven years as a dual-purpose K-9 in Patrol and Explosive Detection.

I would like to personally thank everyone who attended the ceremony and ask you to join me in congratulating all of the members who were sworn into their new positions and also Bosco on his retirement and a job well done!
