Motorcyclist Killed in Traffic Crash at Entrance to Sand Point Park and Max Brewer Parkway

A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle at the intersection of the entrance to Sand Point Park and A. Max Brewer Memorial Parkway at approximately 4:45 p.m. Sunday.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle at the intersection of the entrance to Sand Point Park and A. Max Brewer Memorial Parkway at approximately 4:45 p.m. Sunday.

According to Titusville Police Public Information Officer Amy Matthews, officers responded to the report of a traffic crash with injuries, and the preliminary investigation revealed an adult male was driving a 2008 Kawasaki road cruiser motorcycle eastbound on A. Max Brewer Memorial Parkway near the entrance to Sand Point Park.

“The motorcyclist made a left turn in front of a westbound 2014 Dodge Challenger driven by Craig Peterson, 44, of Orlando,” said Matthews in a release.

The motorcycle driver was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased upon arrival. There were no other injuries.

The victim’s identity has not yet been released and this traffic crash remains under investigation.
