TRAFFIC ALERT: Fatal Crash at U.S. 1 and Indian River Drive in Cocoa, BCSO Asks Motorist To Avoid Area

U.S. 1 closed northbound at intersection of Camp Road

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is assisting the Florida Highway Patrol with a fatal traffic crash at U.S. 1 and Indian River Drive in Cocoa.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is assisting the Florida Highway Patrol with a fatal traffic crash at U.S. 1 and Indian River Drive in Cocoa.

U.S. 1 is closed northbound at the intersection of Camp Road and motorists are being asked to avoid the area if at all possible.

Northbound traffic is being diverted west on Camp Road to Grissom Parkway north to Fay Blvd east to rejoin U.S. 1.

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office said that traffic is expected to be affected for approximately three hours and will issue an advisory when the roadway reopens.
