BREVARD COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WORKSHOP

The Brevard County Commission held a workshop on Thursday concerning the future of the three county-owned golf courses, including a the Savannahs Golf Course, The Habitat Golf Course and Spessard Holland Golf Course.

WATCH MEETING REPLAY: The Brevard County Commission held a workshop on Thursday afternoon at the Brevard County Government Center in Viera, Florida, concerning the future of the three county-owned golf courses, including a the Savannahs Golf Course, The Habitat Golf Course and Spessard Holland Golf Course.

During the 3-hour and 38-minute meeting, it was proposed that The Savannahs at Sykes Creek Homeowners’ Association in North Merritt Island take over management of the Savannahs Golf Course.

Golf Brevard, led byTom Becker, made a pitch to take over the operation for Spessard Holland in Melbourne Beach and The Habitat in Grant-Valkaria.
