Brevard County Sheriff’s Office To Host Active Shooter Training for Church Security Teams

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Department will host Saving Souls by Saving Lives, Tactical Active Shooter Training on Saturday, April 21 at 9:00 a.m. at Coastline Community Church in Indian Harbour Beach.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA– The Brevard County Sheriff’s Department will host Saving Souls by Saving Lives on Saturday, April 21 at 9:00 a.m. at Coastline Community Church in Indian Harbour Beach.

Tactical Active Shooter training will be provided by members of the BCSO who will provide awareness and training in the development of strategies and responses to Active Shooter Scenarios at their respective venues.

The seminar aids church Security Teams in developing specific strategies to prevent and respond to critical incidents during church services and special events.

The training is free but anyone or any church security team that wants to attend needs to register in advance of the event.

Last year, the seminar was held at New Life Christian Center in Titusville and was attended by almost 200 Church Security Team members.
