Designers Michael Lally and Cinthya Salmon-Gatica win National Collegiate Advertising Awards

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Two staff members at Eastern Florida State College have won national Collegiate Advertising Awards for their creative work in promoting college activities.

Designers Michael Lally and Cinthya Salmon-Gatica, who work in the office of Collegewide Printing and Graphic Services on the Cocoa Campus, captured the following honors:

• Lally won three Gold Medals for designing materials for EFSC athletic teams and events.

• Salmon Gatica won a Gold Medal for designing materials for the EFSC Foundation that provides student scholarships, and a Silver Medal for a college holiday card.

Their work appeared on the college’s website and social media platforms and in printed materials as well.

“Mike and Cinthya are extremely talented artists whose work stands out for its originality and eye-catching expression,” said Jo Ann Noth, director of Collegewide Printing and Graphics Services. “They’re great members of our team.”

The Collegiate Advertising Awards recognize the most talented educational marketing professionals in the country for excellence in all forms of advertising, marketing and promotion.

The entries are judged by a panel of experts and evaluated on creativity, layout/design, typography, production, quality and overall effectiveness.
