BREVARD COUNTY • PORT CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – Port Canaveral will host an event Wednesday, April 4 marking the installation of new “solar trees” at the Exploration Tower and Jetty Park.

The festivities will take place at 10 a.m. in front of the Exploration Tower, located at 670 Dave Nisbet Drive.

The five new solar trees feature the latest technology and are artistic, clean energy structures that not only catch the sun to deliver clean emissions-free energy but also provide shade.

A combination of art, convenience, green energy and community, the solar trees seamlessly integrate into the landscape to create a unique space where you can learn more about solar energy.

FPL has developed more than a dozen SolarNow projects including at the Brevard Zoo and Palm Bay City Hall.

Port Canaveral invites the public to attend this event and see the newly planted solar trees and celebrate with food and fun-filled activities for all ages. Guests will receive a special thank you gift.
