Brevard Sheriff’s Office Seeks Help To ID, Locating Armed Burglary Suspect in Merritt Island

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect who recently committed an armed, occupied burglary in Merritt Island. (BCSO Image)

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect who recently committed an armed, occupied burglary in Merritt Island.

The black male suspect entered an occupied residence, located in the 1500 block of Venus Street in Merritt Island on Friday, May 18, between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.

Once inside, the suspect took firearms, cell phones and electronic equipment and then left the scene.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6-feet tall and 180 to 200 pounds, with short dreads.
