BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA — On Sunday, May 27, the City of Rockledge will host its 4th Annual Memorial Day Ceremony at 2 p.m. in the Rockledge High School Auditorium.

Originally scheduled to be held at Larry L. Schultz Park, city officials announced Tuesday that the venue has been changed to the auditorium at Rockledge High School, located at 220 Raider Road in Rockledge, because of concerns of a potential tropical weather system.

“The Memorial Day Ceremony originated four years ago when VFW Rocket Post 4534 suspended its annual Memorial Day Parade,” said Lisa Nicholas. City of Rockledge Public Relations Officer.

“The city felt that it was still very important to commemorate the significance of this special day.”
