Eastern Florida State’s No. 2 Doubles Team Falls In Semifinals At National Championship Tournament

The No. 2 doubles team of Adriel Azucey and Nils Michel lost in the semifinals of the NJCAA National Championship Tournament in Plano, Texas on Thursday afternoon.

WACO, TEXAS (Eastern Florida) – The No. 2 doubles team of Adriel Azucey and Nils Michel lost in the semifinals of the NJCAA National Championship Tournament in Plano, Texas on Thursday afternoon.

The duo came into the tournament as the No. 3 seed and won two matches to get to the semifinals, losing to No. 2 seeded Alejandro Hayen and Aaron Westerlund of Tyler Junior College 6-2, 6-3.

The Titans finish their first national championship tournament with 25 points and are in sixth place overall.

The finals will be Friday at the Collin County Tennis Facilities.
