Palm Bay Fire Rescue B-Shift Engine 2 from Malabar Road extinguished a car fire Monday afternoon on I-95 northbound. The owner said the car started smoking and once they pulled over it caught fire. According to Palm Bay Fire Rescue, luckily, most of the contents were already removed before E-2 arrived on the scene. No injuries or the cause of the fire were reported. (PBFR image)

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay Fire Rescue B-Shift Engine 2 from Malabar Road extinguished a car fire Monday afternoon on Interstate-95 northbound.

The owner said the car started smoking and once they pulled over it caught fire.

According to Palm Bay Fire Rescue, luckily, most of the contents were already removed before E-2 arrived on the scene.

No injuries or the cause of the fire were reported.
