OBITUARY: Ann R.T. Murphy of Satellite Beach Passed Away April 24 at Age 81

Ann R.T. Murphy, age 81, of Satellite Beach, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2018. Ann was born in Springfield, Missouri. She came to Brevard County in 1977 from Natchez, Mississippi and was a member of Holy Apostles Episcopal Church in Satellite Beach.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Ann R.T. Murphy, age 81, of Satellite Beach, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2018.

Ann was born in Springfield, Missouri. She came to Brevard County in 1977 from Natchez, Mississippi and was a member of Holy Apostles Episcopal Church in Satellite Beach.

She was an author and an artist. Due to her husband’s airline and military career, she traveled extensively. In each place she resided, she found a way to be a contributing member of the community.

Her last project, which is in the publishing stage, is a novel titled “The Winnowing.” This action-adventure story will be available in approximately two to three weeks.

She is survived by her husband, Billy E. Murphy and children, Timothy E. Murphy, Kimberly Murphy Pittman and Brett C. Murphy. She had three grandchildren, Keely Pittman, Arianna Pittman and Drew Murphy; and one great-grandchild, Wyatt Tucker Schappert.

A Funeral Service will be held at Holy Apostles Episcopal Church in Satellite Beach, on Thursday, May 3, 2018, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Florida Memorial Gardens, Rockledge, Florida.

Donations can be made in Ann’s name to Moffitt Cancer Center, Tampa, Florida.
