BREVARD COUNTY • BAREFOOT BAY, FLORIDA – Relocation of a water main for stormwater pipe installation will require water to be cut off followed by a precautionary boil water notice beginning at 8 a.m. Tuesday for residents of Barefoot Bay, living south of Micco Road at these addresses: 248-261 and 600-624 Dolphin Circle, and 8264-8268 Brown Road.

The service cutoff is expected to last until noon, but once water service has been restored it is advised that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled.

A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.

The precautionary boil water notice will remain in effect until a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink.

Residents will be notified at that time. For additional information, contact Brevard County Utility Services Department at 321-952-4610.
