Space Coast UCF Alumni Chapter to Host Eighth Annual ‘Starry Knights’ June 21

The Space Coast UCF Alumni Chapter is hosting its signature event, Starry Knights on Thursday, June 21 and is encouraging all locally based Knights to attend.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Space Coast UCF Alumni Chapter is hosting its signature event, Starry Knights, next month and is encouraging all locally based Knights to attend.

Starry Knights, now in its eighth year, will be held on Thursday, June 21, from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Cocoa Beach Country Club, located at 5000 Tom Warriner Boulevard in Cocoa Beach.

The event features two special recognitions: presentation of the Debbie K. Phillis ’84 Space Coast UCF Alumni Chapter Endowed Scholarship to stellar local high school students, and the 2018 Notable Knight honor, which is bestowed annually on a successful alumnus or alumna who has made significant contributions to the community.

The highlight of the evening is the keynote speaker, three-time UCF alumnus and President of Limbitless Solutions Albert Manero, Ph.D. 

Limbitless Solutions is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing children with 3D-print bionic limbs at affordable costs.  Limbitess’ work has been featured by CBS News, BBC, ABC World News, CNN and other media outlets.
